The Newton Coalition of Black Residents brings Black neighbors and families—including families with Black family members—together to build community, connection, and belonging. Our growing network includes more than 100 households.
We aim to gather quarterly, make room for new friendships, and support one another. Our relationships reach across city and state government, schools, nonprofits, local businesses, and the Charles River Chamber. They open conversations and opportunities to connect—not formal sponsorships or endorsements.

Save the Date: Celebrating Kwanzaa
December 26–31, 2026 · Newton, MA
Kwanzaa is a celebration of African heritage honoring principles like unity, self-determination, and creativity — and this year we’re celebrating it as a community. You’ll be able to purchase Kwanzaa kits from us, and we’ll host a community meal together.
